Hello Cougar Family!

My name is Katie Sanford. Many of you may know me as Mrs. Nickerson. I got married last year and have finally updated everything to my new last name. I am excited to continue as the Assistant Principal at Thompson Elementary this year! I have been privileged to serve at Thompson for the past 4 years and am looking forward to another EXCELLENT year here!

This is my 19th year in CFBISD. I taught at Central Elementary for 8 years, served as an Instructional Math Coach at Landry and Blanton Elementary, and have previously served as Assistant Principal at McWhorter, Blair, Blanton, and Las Colinas Elementary. I love CFB and all of the great things our students have the opportunity to participate in to help them learn and grow. I look forward to helping guide your children to continue increasing their achievement each and every day!
