A Special Visit from Officer Villegas!
Our Kinder and 1st grade Cougars got a special surprise when Thompson’s SRO, Officer Villegas, stopped by to meet them! He talked with students about what he does as a police officer, answered their questions, and showed them the different gear he uses on the job. Students even got to see his SWAT gear and hear the police sirens!
The excitement continued as students explored the police car and learned more about Officer Villegas’ important role in keeping our school and community safe. To make the visit even more special, students received a cool little gift from Officer Villegas! A huge thank you to Officer Villegas for spending time with our youngest Cougars and making safety learning so fun!
