Happy beginning of Fall Break! 🍂
This past week we had our Literacy Night, and it was such a success! Thank you to all our parents and students — you did an amazing job working together to escape from your grade-level hallways using your literacy skills! A huge shoutout to our teachers for planning such a fun and engaging event for our families.
Parent lunches have also been a big hit! We love seeing so many of you on campus. This past week, we had close to 200 parents attend. Unfortunately, due to limited space in our cafeteria, each grade level will be given 15 student slots, with up to two adults per student.
We know this may be inconvenient for some, but we are keeping safety in mind. We look forward to seeing you at other Thompson events.
Please be courteous and mindful when signing up — we want to make sure all parents have the opportunity to experience a parent lunch if they are able.
Pre-registration will open after Fall Break. A reminder will be sent out Monday morning at 8:00 a.m., and pre-registration will go live at 10:00 a.m. on ParentSquare to the grade levels.
Lastly, one big event coming up this month is the Harlem Wizards game on Saturday, October 25 at Newman Smith High School starting at 6:30 PM. 🏀 Our very own Officer Lateef was nominated to represent Thompson—let’s show him our support! You can purchase tickets [HERE].
Enjoy your well-deserved Fall Break! 🍁
